The big news this week is that we have finalized plans for Summer Community Groups.  You will have the opportunity to sign up Sunday mornings and get plugged into one of these great Bible studies that will run from June 15^th to July 22^nd.  Here’s the line-up of groups to choose from:

1. How to Share Your Faith – Tuesdays

Leaders: Greg Dement and Benjamin  Soibam   Hosts: Linda & Greg

Description: This group will read a book called “The Gospel and Personal Evangelism” by Mark Dever.  Group discussion will be focused around the content in the book.  Join this group if you want to learn how to share your faith confidently and clearly.

2. How to Radically Follow Jesus – Tuesdays

Leader: Chris  Bryant  Host: Nikki Rodden (Med Center West)

Description: This group will read a book called “Radical: Taking Back Your Faith from the American Dream” by David Platt.  Group discussion will be focused around the content in the book.  Join this group if you want to learn how to live a life of radical discipleship.

3. How to Be a Man (men only) – Wednesdays

Leaders: Ben Hays and Aaron  Crouch   Host: Ben (288 South)

Description: This group will study what the Bible teaches about being a man.  God’s calling for men is much different than that of society.  Join this group if you want to learn how to be a faithful man of God.

4. How to Praise God (women only) – Wednesdays

Leaders: Kelli Hays and Kim Pieplow     Host: Kim (Holly Hall Area)

Description: This group will study the Psalms of Ascent using a Beth Moore study guide. They will look at the pilgrimage theme found in Psalms 120-134 and explore how the lessons apply to women today.  Join this group if you want to learn how to be a joyful woman of God.

5. How to Study Your Bible – Thursdays

Leaders: Dale Hamilton and Tim Pieplow     Hosts: Vielka & Ryan (Museum District)

Description: This group will be an interactive class on Bible study methods.  It will be based upon a book called “Living by the Book” by Howard Hendricks, as well as lecture notes from his seminary classes.  Join this group if you want to grow in your ability to study, understand, and teach God’s word.

6. How to Grow in Your Faith – Day TBD

Leader: Jacob  Shelton   Host: Location TBD (North Side – Spring Area)

Description: This group will study the fundamentals of the Christian faith.  It will be an interactive Bible study investigating several foundational truths and practices given by God to His children.  Join this group if you want to grow more mature in your faith.
