36 And Jesus went throughout all the cities and villages, teaching in their synagogues and proclaiming the gospel of the kingdom and healing every disease and every affliction. 37 When he saw the crowds, he had compassion for them, because they were harassed and helpless, like sheep without a shepherd. Then he said to his disciples, 38
"The harvest is plentiful, but the laborers are few; therefore pray earnestly to the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into his harvest." - Matthew 9:36-38
In Matthew 9:38, Jesus calls His followers to pray earnestly for God to move, to act, to do what only He can do.
Our harvest is the medical center community. Many people are hurting and in need of God's grace. Let us seek to have the same compassion Jesus modeled in Matthew 9:38.
Each Sunday at 9:38 am, we will meet on the 3rd floor worship location at the Marriott to pray for the church and the community. We will pray for our pastor, our members, and our visitors, and above all else for God's glory to be made known.
Through this prayer time it is our heartfelt desire that God would transform and grow the lives of His people, and that He would use the Church in the Center to help accomplish His work in the medical center community.
